FINANCIAL GIFT— Eyal Feldman of Hidden Hills, right, presents a check for $1,700 to Shelly Markman at the Jewish Home for the Aging in Reseda. Feldman raised the funds by swimming six miles across the Sea of Galilee, Israel’s largest freshwater lake. The swim took more than three hours. Feldman presented the gift in memory of Edward I. Shapiro, a former resident of the home. Photo courtesy of Aaron Saltzman

I'm very happy for you. You are inspirational to people like me who sit on the sidelines and watch charity events happen.

Good job - well deserved.
